Possum Hat Possum Scarf

Our possum hat and possum scarf are made from a blend of fine Merino wool and luxurious Brushtail possum fibre.
Developed in 1991, possum merino is said to be the first new blend of natural fibres in the world for over 100 years, and it is unique to New Zealand. Bob and Helen Powell, owners of Possumdown® Knitwear Ltd., attribute their rural farming background and their desire to help reduce the rampant possum population to their development of this outstanding product available as possum hat, possum scarf and many other variations of clothing.
